why current bun?
current bun was born from a desire to make a difference. after 20 years working in retail, in 2020 our founders Jenny and Becky received the nudge they’d been waiting for to finally branch out and make it on their own.
driven by inspiration and a gap in the market, noticed when Jenny was pregnant, they set about building their maternity clothing business and current bun was born (…see what we did there!)
but what does current bun maternity stand for?
we are driven by our belief that pregnant women shouldn’t have to choose between ease of shopping and style. that when you’re pregnant you shouldn’t have to either trawl the rails of the ‘normal’ section for clothes that will fit your changing shape OR peruse the same-as-ever 4 rails of maternity in black and nautical stripes.
you shouldn’t have to try on a single outfit that makes you feel bad about your body or your changing shape.
at current bun maternity all of our garments are designed for comfort AND style. to suit your shape through bump and beyond and because maternity is all we cater for, we are able to put all of our focus into ensuring we do it properly.

our first collection is small but we have BIG plans and we want to take you on this journey with us. please share the current bun love with any expecting friends, loved-ones or even friendly strangers. let them know that we are making it our mission to change the face of maternity shopping
